Self Description（学生自述）:

Asian continent or better saying Chinese culture was one of the goals that the Moroccan student Bahae Ddine (白鹤) wanted to achieve and try out, and here he is, studying in one of the good ranked universities in Wuhan, Hubei
University of Technology.

From my point of view, the environment and the quality of teaching are better than I expected, in addition to the various activities that I have never thought about before I
came to China.

Proudly, I took part in most of the school activities since my first arrival and here I am a first class scholarship winner, and a student star for the secondtime. I acted as a volunteer in 2019, 2020 and 2021 school Olympics games, school new year events, graduation ceremonies, school museum tours and so on…

I am a member of Media, photography and journalism department, I had the chance to learn new things and meet new Chinese friends.
Currently I am
a member of ISA, responsible for the
publicity and entertainment department.
In addition to all these activities,
I
participated in
2021 internship organized by school, and as
I
said I
got a lot of experience joining the company.

Bahae Ddine mentioned that all the works that I have
done were kind of a self strengthening journey and taught me the most how to face life issues, for a successful bright future!

Self Description（学生自述）:

Before coming to China to become an international student, China was for me a very far away place that I would never step my foot on, but fate works in mysterious ways. And I am glad I ended up continuing my studies in Hubei University of Technology, a place full of learning and adventure, even thought my time here in China was brief. I learned a lot about myself, China and its hospitable people and went through some amazing experiences I will never forget, in a way I can say I already graduated to maturity.

Unfortunately due to covid-19 pandemic I ended up being separated from this amazing place and having to go back to my home country and the only remaining link I still had is through online classes. I am still optimistic about the future, a near future where Icame back to china and discovering its wonders anew.

Self Description（学生自述）:

I give much gratitude for receiving this Second Class Scholarship. It was quite unexpected. Ever since my arrival in China, I have been greeted with some challenges. These challenges have however brought some positive outcomes. China for sure, I knew, is an ideal place for me to study architecture. I developed more passion for this major during quarantine which fueled my desire to excel in the following academic year. During that period, I got to figure out things I would like todo and improve upon in the near future. Having been here for just a few years experiencing ups and downs, I believe life here in China will be better.

I'm enjoying the journey of learning with the help of my teachers. 2020 was a difficult year for all of us, but I decided to stay in China becauseI trust my teachers and my school. Not only did I survive the pandemic, but also have I been able to keep high scores even with all the online classes，more than 90 in most subjects,
and I was able to get a scholarship that I'm thankful for. Now I’m looking forward to bright and prosperous future after graduation.

Since high school, I have been interested in Chinese culture and language. After graduating from a high school, I firmly decided to go to China for new knowledge.
My goal was to get my bachelors degree in Teaching Chinese as Second language and after be profession enough to spread my knowledge about Chinese culture and language around the world. In Hubei University of Technology, after one year of classes I reached level 5 in Chinese. I believe that this is not only my work, but also the professionalism of teachers, who are very smart, resourceful and responsive people. Studying at HBUT one of the greatest honors in my life.
